The way AI is implemented in FUB compared to other CRMs depends on the specific CRM you’re comparing to, but in general:
- Because of its integrated calling and texting features, FUB AI has access to the contents of those communications. Not every CRM offers integrated calling and texting, and not every CRM that does is applying AI to that data.
- Some other CRMs require you to use AI by prompting a chatbot with instructions. In FUB, AI is built into the places you already work, and you interact with it using a few simple clicks.
Third party AI tools can be great, but they don’t have access to your business’s data like leads, calls, texts and emails (unless you manually upload it), so the results you get are less personalized for your business. Third party models might know a lot about the real estate industry in general, but they don’t know much about you. Plus, third party tools often require you to work out of those tools directly, meaning that to use AI, agents have to toggle between FUB and a separate window.

“FUB AI” isn’t a single feature that you buy. Our goal is to enhance the FUB features you’re already using with AI so they’re faster, more personalized and deliver even better results for your business. Currently, there’s no additional charge for AI features in FUB, but many of them rely on data produced by the FUB Calling feature, which is an added charge on certain plans.
The AI tools in Follow Up Boss are unique because they use data that’s already in your account, like calls, texts, emails, and lead activity, to help you follow up faster and more effectively. That’s what makes the AI feel so personalized: It understands your history and communication with leads, and surfaces suggestions that are relevant and context-driven. These tools use your data to personalize your experience within your account. We don’t share it with other customers, and it’s not used to train global AI models or any external systems.
